#52weeksofaction #week7

‘Clown house’ - Nigerian Embassy, February 2012

It’s week x of year ABCD and the ? post in my #52weeksofaction. As you may have noticed there was no blog post last week, that’s because I was too busy #makingshithappen and I’ve decided that is okay, okay.

But in case you were wondering, I’m still blogging and this week I’m back to the regular scheduled program.

Last week I realised and probably not for the first time, that people should try as hard as they can to do what they love as often as possible because it will make you happy.
After a long morning in the Nigerian embassy, witnessing the fine art of intercontinental incompetence, I spent the evening auditioning for a place performing in the Olympic opening ceremony.
The 3 hours spent dancing/auditioning, was the most fun I’ve had in years and made me wonder why I’d ever stopped dancing and acting. As a result I’m going to find myself a dance class and maybe audition for a few more things.
On that note, I’d recommend you read another essay from one of my favourite tech people Paul Graham on “How to do what you love”.
Are you doing what you love?
